Game recomandations for ps2

I got an old PS2 to play with. And two consoles.
I'm looking for game recomandations for a beginner player. Something realy easy, yet entertaining.
I prefer something with a storyline, but if you know something that is just plain good, let me know

you could also go old school and get som PS1 games - play any of the final fantasy 4 thru 7 and my kids enjoyed the story line in Chrono Cross and Chrono Trigger [so i'm gonna try them myself!]

[FONT=Century Gothic]Ya can't go wrong with Super Monkey Ball Deluxe (Ultimate party game lol:D) and the Warriors: Orochi series if you're into easy button mashing action games with a interesting story plot...I gotta throw in Kingdom Hearts in there as well, but all my suggestions come with a "rent before you buy" policy unless you've got a emulator - then just try 'em! lol, as my opinion of a good game differs from other members (most think my games suck lol XD). Enjoy game hunting though, as I'm still having fun on my ps2, even with most of my gaming time taken up by Dragon Age -.-[/FONT]

Dragon quest 8,Zone of the enders: 2nd runner,metal gear solid 2,3 those are my favorite games on ps2 good story.

For easy games with good storylines, you've got to go with role-playing games.O.<

(They have to be easy, yet engaging. Otherwise no one would bother to play them.):)

The best for me are:
Rayman 2 Revolution- Great platformer and story
Final fantasy XII- Nice story and it will last long( I clocked in over 100 hrs)
Final Fantasy X- same as above
Dark Cloud 1 and 2- Nice rpg and story
Kingdom hearts 1 and 2- Best games evar!!

And lastly you should try the metal gear solid series- Metal Gear Solid 2 and
Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater. These have complex but engaging storylines@ .@
There are more I can list but I think that's enoughXD

I'd go with Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3. As well as Resident Evil 4. I didn't like Final Fantasy X and XII but that's a personal opinion. You could also go with Marvel Vs Capcom 2 if you could find it for a cheap price.

god of war 1&2 are real good games if you like hack and slash action

why don't you try Mortal Kombat, Killzone, GTA these are great games to play with mates or by yourself, they aren't super easy so rent or borrow before purchase, also most games have an easy or even very easy setting so try that. If they don't they suck, like my playing skills.

u can try final fantasy X, and X-2 ( hot girls , LOL )

u can try klonoa 2 ( is nice and cute to me ),,

or try some racing game ( that u can "shoot" your opponent )
