i started this topic since no one realli responded to the death note thread but i'll start first i think the sadest anime is hanayori dango its kind...

Well I never cry but the ones that touched me the most are Elfen lied and some years ago when I was a little kid I nearly cried the episode pickachu left :P (please no comments about this I allready feel bad enough ^^)

I don't know if I actually cried but I was pretty sad at the end of Cowboy Bebop especially when Blue comes on. There was also the part of Hikaru no Go that nicoletan mentioned and the drama that just finished during the Fall 2007 season, ef - A Tale of Memories. There were a ton of moments that got me but one of the real kickers was the end of episode 11 (Even though you could kind of see it coming) and a lot of episode 12.

I can see how you would forget about it, I hadn't watched Hikaru no Go until 4 or 5 days ago but it still wasn't something I thought of until I saw nicoletan post it.

It's still going from the manga I think. They just created Shippuuden because people were starting to stop watching Naruto due to the massive amount of filler. At least that's the reason I heard.

Ditto on X (TV) and I friggin' wailed when Spike died at the end of Cowboy Bebop T_T Howl's Moving Castle was very moving also. It had such a sweet little ending.

IÂ´ve seen kimiga nozomu eien and it is deep too, but to me is more similar to some of those... how do you call it in english? one of those drama series so popular from south america (specially from argentina, venezuela; some "sort" of falcon crest)

Anime X (TV) didnÂ´t make me cry at all, but i found it moving too.
