i started this topic since no one realli responded to the death note thread but i'll start first i think the sadest anime is hanayori dango its kind...

the animes that made me cry the most were bokura ga ita, and clannad. There were so many sad parts in clannad especially and the movie completely killed me.

Well, not the You are asking: Ginga Nagareboshi Gin. When I first downloaded and started to watch I felt nostalgic, because this anime was aired during my birth, and also this was the first anime series I've ever seen. I've watched so many times, that the tape had broken.

However in many similar anime: Kannazuki no Miko, Ga-Rei Zero, Strawberry Panic, Jigoku Shoujo and others the drama is so much, that I wish to change the fate as an anime character.

I find it quite upsetting that Syaoran is soo in love with Sakura but no matter what happens she will never remember the fact that she had the exact same feeling for him, what makes it worse i think is that they never told each other before Sakura lost her memory .

no anime made me cry yet , but here are the almost made me cry list ::::

1 _ tiger mask ( i was like 6 )
2 _ death of itachi
3 _ clannad
4 _ the end of z gundam
5 _ school days caused me to hate humans even more
6 _ saya no uta ( visual novel , i kinda squeezed a tear , very depressing story )
7 _ aoi bungaku first 4 ep ( ultra sad ending )
8 _ and finally the fate of archer in fate stay night unlimited blade works ( i almost cried and i haven't finished reading/watching it yet )

So many anime series have made me cry I could not name them all. The most memorable time that an anime made me cry was the first time I saw Evangelion episode 18.

The powerlessness Shinji experiences when the dummy plug system was activated horrified me. The vocals by Spike Spencer added to the sense of franticness. When Unit One crushed the entry plug I couldn't even cry from the shock.

I cried many times from anime but that scene still gets me. I always hope that somehow Unit One will stop, but it never does.
