In my town we have the 'insert town name here' beast, that isn't what it is usually called but named after my town.
It was said that the ever so careful Yanks had pet puma's or big cats like them for mascots during WWII, and being a sharing lot they let them go in the bush not far from the town. Anyway people often see them or what now must be their offspring, i haven't but people I know have and there is the fact that something does occasionally kill cattle or sheep and not wild dogs.
P.S. I would love to be a werewolf, but not the gay ones from Twilight, more Underworld, plus Kate Beckingsale would be hanging around in her tight PVC suit. hmmmm!
