I do like stuff centred around schools and current trends in shows seem to agree with me. I would say most of the anime on air currently would involve a school of some sort.
Lets see of the ones currently airing:
Kore wa zombie desu ka
Hourou Musuko
Yumekui Merry
Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica
To aru majutsu no index
Freezing
Infinite Stratos
Mitsudomoe
etc.
I'm sure there are others but I can't recall them off the top of my head.
I guess my point is that the viewers out there more often than not like this sort of stuff which so happens to align well with my interests. :) Sure, many of them aren't exactly in schools for most of the time but schools do seem to be a popular place to set atleast some of the scenes.
