Anyone of you a fan of fantasy RPGs and looking forward to this game? I know I am. It looks awesometastic! :) Its a spiritual successor to the old Baldur's Gate games, and its bound to be a good one at that. So, share your opinions about this great looking game. Personally, I think it will be quite enjoyable. Cheers.

Hell yeah, glad I got someone aboard, haha. I agree with you on everything, but I gotta admit despite being an evil witch, Morrigan has a certain attractiveness to her. :) Lets hope it all stays the same through the release. Also, I think the dragons a bit too easy to fight...

Baldur's Gate sure isn't great because you could get naked with Jaheira, Viconia or Aerie.

Which edition is everyone going to get? Every package seems to have different game content added. :S

Im thinking of getting the collectors edition cause I want a couple of the DLCs, but I dont know whether its worth the price. I might just end up settling for the regular version, because I just want to get into the game lol. :)

[FONT=Century Gothic]I'll always tell ppl to rent games I really like because everyone's got different tastes:) With my take, this game's totally worth it if you're into non-linear RPGs (the game adjusts itself to your quest), but if you get into the side-quests it sucks more life out of you:D The only reason you'd want to be online with the game is for the DLC and to show the game community your character development:P And I believe the collector's edition comes with all the dlc for the first game- Awakening is the expansion pack to it (Which I ended up buying:happy: )[/FONT]

[FONT=Century Gothic]I've not played Elder Scrolls so I couldn't give you a comparison between the two, but if you can get down with the side jobs for this game, your characters can level up like a mofo:P The combat system was different from the turn-based rpgs I've grown accustomed to (Final Fantasy) but it was more the story than the combat that drew me to this game :hanabi:
BTW: I just finished the Awakening expansion... If you don't want to spend $40 on something you'll finish in 8 hrs, then I suggest renting it-.- But ya loved the series like I did, ya gotta get it:)[/FONT]

[FONT=Century Gothic]I actually copped this game recently for my ps3, but I'm hell-bent on getting my platnum trophies on 3 other games before jumping on it:P

With 50 hours logged on... I've gotten one ending and now have to play one more dlc quest (Warden's Keep). Then it's time to play as a mage, elves, and dwarves(and a female human noble) to get all trophies for this one:) damn the endings are cool as hell! Alistar cracks me up:D

Yeah I've been on this game hard for a while myself I can't wait to play it. It looks awesome and I love most of the characters featured so far (especially Leliana she's just too hot) The powers and effects are badass too.

Don't worry if this game's anything like baldur's gate, later in the game dragons will probably have a surprize attack that owns your entire party.
And yes Morrigan is pretty hot as well.

Dude I seriously endorse this game for 2009 game of the year. It's consuming my life at the moment. MGS4 was the last time I encountered such an awesome source of story, dialogue and gameplay in one game. Let's put it this way, I currently have 53 hours invested in this game and I've barely scratched the surface.

The game is just pure awesome. The fact that it just has tons of items and things to do will keep you busy of hours upon hours. Which is great for an rpg. I've created like 7 characters so far, complete 2, half way through my 3rd, completed all the origin stories, and almost done all the dlc. It's such a fun game to play over and over again. Though I took a break from it for another game.

My mate had this game and loads of free dlc for it too (works at GAME -_- damn him). He's been raving like a loony at me to play it. So I think I'm gonna go out and get it for my p.c. If it can even be put in the same paragraph as Baldur's Gate then I will have to give it some serious playtime.

Loved this game on Xbox but really would rather try it on PC so I can use a class besides thief and warrior.
