Ilasir I'm mostly into common practice era music, so I'm not familiar with that person. Do you have a link I could look at?
Ilasir Thanks. It sounds good. I snagged copies of the sheet music for the three songs you mentioned. I'll give them a try when I have some time.
Ilasir lol, no... I wish, but I have so much other stuff to get done. I havee to be ready to move into my dorm in less than two weeks, and I'm way behind on my anime, manga, and novel schedule. Wish I had the time and money to take a gap year like a certain someone...
Ilasir Learning to read music was the easy part. :disco: Now I'm stuck learning how to play it. I haven't been playing piano for more than a year or so, so I don't know many songs either, but if it's really easy, I can sight-play it pretty well. Actually learning and remembering the songs is a lot harder. :music2:
Ilasir Rio, the Devil's Trill, lol...:socute: Actually, though, not all violin songs sound sad. Especially if it's jazz violin or fiddle, instead of "classical"(common pratice). Also, japanese music videos are funny.:nihonjin:
Ilasir ...using Japanese honorifcs without the context of the language is a little bit weird. :worried:
Ilasir BooYaa;50395 wrotei had a video of Vanesa Mae I thing the song was called Storm or something :P Was pretty fun and the music was awesome as well :music: She definitely is talented  Ditto that. Really enjoyed the video you linked to, Rio.:music2:
Ilasir I really enjoyed that link, too, Rio. Maybe we should find a more appropriate place to continue this than the Intro section, though?
Ilasir That's a good point. And hey, here I am learning piano first. So why am I arguing? I think this might become the longest intro thread on the forum, soon.
Ilasir haha. Learning piano is not really "easier" than any other instrument. Well, it's easier to know which notes to hit, if that's what you meant. Unlike say, a guitar, where you have to learn a lot of chords, or a violin, where no one plays it quite the same. But past that, it's just as hard.
