Hello, everybody. My name is Ilasir, as you have probably all guessed. For personal reasons, I'm going to deviate from the format in the "How to Make an Intro" sticky. Just a little though.
I found the site because I watched the FTP-A subs of Shigofumi, which I really enjoyed, so I thought I'd look up the group that subbed it, and here I am. Obviously, one of my hobbies is anime/manga, but I'm also a writer, the poetry editor of an e-zine called The Oddville Press, and I play an okay piano and a very bad violin. I wouldn't call what I do with a guitar anything so nice as "playing". I'm in college right now pursuing a degree in Linguistics, with a possible minor in Japanese.
My favorite anime include Shigofumi, Last Exile, Eureka Seven (though not the movie version), and a whole bunch of others. I don't read much manga, but I can list Twin Spica and Pandora Hearts as two of my favorites.
I think that about covers the intro guidelines, plus maybe a little more.
