[COLOR=DarkGreen][FONT=Verdana]Hello to all. Names Ed, 47yo father of an 18yo son who is graduating in the next couple of weeks (mister know-it-all, always argumentative, bull headed [hey! thats me] ). Who is also the one who got me into this little hobby.
My home is sunny So. Cal. in the shadow of Magic Mountain. I'm self employed/unemployed at this time, doing what I can to get by.
I don't have a favorite anime, but I lean towards the feudal Japan style. Some of the mecho-futuristic is o.k. as long as it doesn't get too silly/unbelievable. I read a lot of manga
(translated, wouldn't even try to learn Japanese at this time.).I watch hentai probably too much. I like the drawn female form as long as it isn't over exaggerated to the point of ridiculous.
Well, I'm off to fix dinner finally. Bad thing about computers is I tend to lose track of time.

I'd like to recomend you some series but I'm not able to guarantee that They are easy to follow.

here's a proper welcome, ed. is it ed or halfd [i type w/two fingers - one per/hand] so it's one or the other. i think of myself as wolf, but tom, stupid, nothing, pain, any of those will do. you only got one boy? i got two - 27 & 25 - proud of both [one college graduate / one ex-army].

i like the feudal japan style best myself. and the futuristic is ok - but the norm for anime seems to be silly/unbelievable - so we're stuck with that.

haha that happens to me too, all the time! I go on early...post a few things... i look back at the time and like 6 hours have gone by! :nani:
My family gets so irritated all the time because then we end up eating very late or i forget the food in the oven or something.

no problem. yea im sure you'll enjoy hanging around here-this place is the BEST!!! ^^ and the smileys are AWESOME! :thrilled: the winter here can get really really cold. lol ya i usually wear like 4 layers of clothes and i get out lots of extra blankets. its never cold enough for it to snow though. :kanashii: but right now its not that cold, it usually starts getting very cold in June. wow 30°C thats pretty hot.

He gets to graduate with 2 braids of achievement, one for business & one for literature being placed in the 13th annual Literature Magazine which showcases young artists from our area. It is a piece called "Absolution" which more or less equates to forgiveness.
