Greetings to everyone at FTP Anime.

Before I tell you my name I'd like to commend the designers of the site and the forums in paticular as it is very easy to navigate and is easy on the eye.

The name is illumin7 and I'm located anywhere at any time in any city in Europe (as I'm on a laptop) but normally can be found chilling in London.

I am male and nearly 30 yeah I know

I accidently stumbled on to this site while bored sometime in the last 24 hours while trying to find some 8 man after torrents.

Needless to say I did not find any after being sidetracked by this site.

I am a Griot and full time teacher on aspects of history African/Moorish/Crypto/Alternate and spirituality and philosophy in general and conduct lessons privately.

I'm also a keen TKD/Hsing-I practitioner.

I don't have a favourite Anime as such and hadn't watched any anime close to 10 years until sometime last year an old friend tossed Death note in my general direction I was hooked so I'm eager to see what I've been missing out on in terms of anime these last few years.

I'm not big on lists but for the sake of argument here's my 5 "best"

WELCOME !!! and yes, you have lost many good animes in that time, as I did... only became like a fan for the last 4 years...

ans still getting good animes... maybe you could look fot the good ones, in the thread your top 5 animes, all of them or at least the greate mayority are great or above the average ..

One good thing about stumbling on anime in the last year is there's alot to catch up on and more that's dubbed to english for us slower older ppl [you're still a pup to me tho].

Already posting nicely, I see. They [the younger old timers here] like that a lot here, so keep it up!

I've been known to post on another forum that also uses vBullitin (an older version, surfing is a nightmare at times there)

They have nice movie drops etc.

Problem is when I first went there it was great and you get your silly little groups who love flaming albeit very funny but after a while it wears you down, and you in turn start to become narky, obstinate and cantakerous.

I dont mind a little ribbing here and there thats cool I was told that, the person who cant laugh at themselves is a person you can neither rely upon nor learn from.

Anyway thats enough of the cliffnotes, thanks for the welcome.
