First-time poster here.
A couple of thing to note about Anime downloads:
1- If they are fansubs, they are free. Done and dusted. American licensing companies cannot do a THING about that.
2- Fansubs, again, use the original Japanese titles and place subtitles in the shows (which; in this posters opinion, is much better than crappy American dubs.)
3- As usual, American licensing companies need to make money, don't they?
Another thing to note, fansubs are taken before the licensing companies can actually take ownership of it.
And, if I'm not mistaken, shouldn't it be the Anime production studios to take action, not the American ones?
Correct me if what I'm saying makes no sense, please.
I'm a little bit heated from companies pushing their weight around.
