i agree it threw me off completly when i watched some subbed dbz, watched the dubbed CN stuff when i was yougner too.
i dont know. i like dubbed more because it is more simple to watch for me. but if i knew japanese very well, or at all i suppose. the origonal would probaly be kool. i am sure alot is lost when they try to match the lip movments of the anime to english words. but overall i cannot believe that the content is too blatently different the video story line remains intact dosent it?
and here lately CN has put on a couple of animes i have enjoyed. death note, code geass. okay so maybe just two. but back when toonami was on i was all about tenchi, this was before i discovered i could find more animes online.
anyways, call me a loser but untill i can understand japanese by hearing it, reading the subs expeciall when they are deep in long conversations, is just too much for me to focus on, i feel i gain more letting my eyes wander and watch the anime while hearing dub. but each to their own, certainly not going to knock people who prefer the origional subbed content.
i think i watched REC in full sub, and i enjoyed it, although it too me like twice as long to watch an episode.
