Ok, some people are saying they don't like the way the IRC chat box loses its history when they browse the forums so i came up with a quick fix for this problem which mich so kindly helped me with and tested it.
Ive only tried this on FireFox and IE so im unsure about other web browsers
you guys may use but for FireFox and IE it quite simple (well it must be because
i worked it out)
FireFox
Before logging into the Mibbit client right click the box and in the drop down box
click This frame, then click Open frame in a new tab. Once this opens you can go to the Mibbit tab and log in as usual, leaving the original tab for browsing the forums.

Internet Explorer
In Internet explorer its a little more fussy but still it does the job.
Before logging into Mibbit right click the IRC chat box and click add to favorites then open your favorites list and right click the bookmark and then click Open in new tab, then log in as usual.
A few people who haven't used IRC before are wanting to know what the little Icons next to some of the people nicks are, so here's a quick guide

if you look to the right of the image you will see a list of all the people in the channel and a few names have the little Icons next to there names (apart from RJD's nick which is so big it disappears off the screen) but by the side of his name there is a little House Icon

KEY:
= Channel Owner
= Admin
= Operator (OP)
= Half-Operator (halfOP)
= Voice
So now your probably asking what does all this mean, well its a little like the forums Admins and moderators.
Channel owner
this being RJD is the Main guy of FTP-Anime Channel there's nothing he cant do within is own channel basically like here on the forums.
Admins
These guys (Me and Ketsurui) have less control over the channel than RJD but a Admin has more control over the channel than the Operators (OP's) basically can change topic, Give Operator, Half operator and voice to people within the channel, we can also kick and ban people from the channel if they cause any problems within the channel.
Operators
Operators have less control than Admins but can still change the topic and also give Operator, half Operator and Voice status to people within the channel. Also they can Kick and ban people with the same status as themselves or lower if need be.
Half Operator
Now half operators normally ain't human and are actually BOT's, BOT's are scripts and aplications running from a home PC or Server that connect to the channel that do various tasks, the BOT's within FTP-animes channel are files servers that you can connect to to and download Anime, manga and games from. Belkar is a very special BOT in our channel who helps moderate the channel and also a few fun things too which require a trigger typed into irc by yourselves, he also keeps a record of things done in the channel like who's the most talkative person in the channel etc..

Voice
Now Voice is given to people in our channel who spend time chatting and discussing things and also voice is given to the people who own the bots that distro FTP-Animes releases. Voiced people don't have any control over the channel other than they can use colored text in the channel. They can not ban, kick or change topic.
Now to register your nick !
IRC has a nice little feature which is nickserv. Nickserv enables you to register your nick so no one else may use it on the server your currently connected to (this being irc.rizon.net server) by inputting a simple command
which will then register your nick, so here's how its done..
once your logged into the ftp-anime channel input this command (BUT do not forget the / at the begging)
/msg nickserv register <your password> <your email>
1) remove the <your password> and enter your own password you want to use
2) remove the <your email> and enter your own email address
3) then hit enter.
So if i was going to register my nick i would do..
/msg nickserv register google @someEmailaddy.com">u4ria@[deleted].com
so you can see ive used the password google and the email address @someEmailaddy.com">u4ria@[deleted].com
Now within a few minutes you should receive an email from chanserv which will be sent to the email address you used to register, open it up and follow the instructions within the email to activate your registration.
When ever you connect to the Irc channel just input this command:
/msg nickserv identify <your password>
Don't forget to remove all of the <your password> and replace it with your actual password you registered your nick with.
once you've done all of this your nick will be added to the Auto voice list which will voice you when ever you connect to the channel.
Its as simple as that, but if you have any problems don't be afraid to ask for help, that's what where here for.
