Windows Dvd Maker Problem

Does anyone know how to fix a problem with Windows Dvd Maker? Everytime I try to burn a dvd it always get to 99% and then it says error cant create disc

I'm wondering if it's the wonderful DRM/Vista bugs I've been reading about.

Seems M$ answer to piracy is to punish the innocent with the guilty.

What about the size of your files? Is it <4,36GB(4500MB)?
What about the DVD type? Is it supported?
Have you tried changing the DVD manufacturer(I recommend Memorex, Sony, Verbatims have soetimes problems)

It's better to use normal program like this than solving some bug in M$ porogram

You don' have proper codec for playing. You have to reencode(I doubt you could do that) or find another version of what you want to burn.

But there is a problem, if it is XP, 2000, ME, 98 or 95 win?

1) right click on "this computer" icon
2) left click on "properities" (last thing in menu)
3) It will show you RAM + CPU + Windows type(same for win since ME)
4) make a creen and post it here
5) or just write it

I don't have that sh*t too... I tried to use it... But it's pain.
So. Another manual:
0) Check the file/s, if it's not corrupted!!!
1) Check program compatibility(don't use M$ programs, use someting normal)
2) You have to have the overall size <4,36GB(4500MB)!!! or 8,250MB with DL DVD
3) Check your settings, if the burning drive is able to handle the DVD type you want to burn
4) Some media manufacturers cause problems to some burners, try different medias

if its XP then take a screen shot of DxDiag

go to Start Menu >> Run >> dxdiag << type that in the run box window

if you are using Linux/apple then I have no idea :P
